An Afternoon in Ocean Springs

As far as Ocean Springs, Mississippi is concerned, it’s spring. Azaleas are blooming EVERYWHERE and kids are already wading at the beach! Jonathan and I are so excited about my cousin Justin’s wedding tomorrow at this lovely inn… We took a walk around the beautiful, live-oak shaded streets and tried to capture some of the loveliness of this artistic, quirky, and historic town.IMG_2210IMG_0010IMG_2218IMG_2232Such a lovely courtyard setting for a wedding!IMG_2193IMG_2221IMG_0023IMG_0024IMG_0029IMG_0036IMG_0044We saw so many CUTE houses like this one as we drove the streets near the beach. Ocean Springs is a haven for bookworms – I counted THREE Little Free Libraries in three blocks!IMG_0052IMG_0055IMG_2185We cheated a little and drove over the bridge to Biloxi so I could see the sunset from the Lighthouse.  I photographed all the photographers photographing the sunset. IMG_0123IMG_0132We finished up our day with an AMAZING supper at the Half Shell Oyster House in Biloxi! Oh my goodness I am stuffed with Royal Red shrimp and redfish – and that Bananas Foster Cheesecake for dessert  – MAN. ❤  I LOVE our Mississippi Gulf Coast!
