When Jan and Chase asked us to schedule them for a post-wedding bridal session, I knew just where I wanted to take them. I LOVE old homes – Jonathan and I were married at lovely Auburn Plantation in Natchez – and when I have a chance to take a gorgeous bride and a handsome groom to a location like this, I am very, very happy. Bryn Bella was built in 1848 and is on the National Register of Historic Places. Maintained with love and pride by Keith and Chrissy Heard, it’s a hidden treasure of Columbus.
Jonathan and I were so happy to get to work with these two again! Jan and Chase are one of the most creative and fun couples we have been blessed to work with. They both have an amazing sense of style. Jan’s gorgeous dress, created of cascading layers of organza, is a perfect combination of classic elegance and whimsy. And Chase? Chase sewed his own vest. You read me right: when Chase couldn’t find exactly what he wanted to wear on his wedding day, he got busy and made his vest himself. You are a ROCK STAR GROOM, Chase!
What a beautiful bride. Renaissance painters would have lined up to have a chance to capture this lovely face.
Say hello to Scarlett O’Hara. ❤
Be still my heart.
Jan and Chase, we were so delighted to spend more time with you two! Thank you so much for driving all the way from Meridian and braving the humidity (and an overly friendly puppy)so we could capture these moments for you. We are so happy for you both, and we pray blessings over you as you enjoy your first year as Mr. and Mrs. Trayal.
